...the must-have accessory of the moment- the princess umbrella!
Broth... check. Detergent...check. Paper Towels...check.
And so it went, as the items on the weekly list got marked off.
And then, a glimpse of a small cardboard display.
"Oh wow",
She said upon her discovery.
"Look Mama! Look! Umbrellas!"
So the cart took a short detour.
She eyed each of them carefully,
and quickly pulled out her final selection.
Holding onto it tightly, only releasing it to be scanned,
her little fingers worked quickly to remove the tag,
pushing it open as we walked out of the store into the hot midday sun.
Not a single cloud in the sky.
No matter.
It twirls, it has beautiful colors, princesses, and a sleeping beauty handle.
A very rare treasure indeed,
rain or shine.
